Product Overview

Butyl carbitol acetate (diethylene glycol monobutyl ether acetate, ≥98.0% ) is a high-boiling (245 °C), slow-evaporating solvent (evaporation rate ~0.03) for demanding coating applications. It is the solvent of choice for high-temperature baking enamels, screen-printing inks, alkyd / epoxy coatings and PVC adhesives. Very low volatility gives excellent flow, leveling and open time.
